My Vision
I create games that combine deep narrative, innovative game mechanics, and immersive worlds. My approach is player-centered: I design challenges, systems, and environments that are not only fun but also meaningful. Every element—from mechanics to aesthetics—serves to immerse players in a coherent and engaging experience.
I particularly excel at worldbuilding, creating intricate and believable game universes that guide players through journeys that feel both personal and epic. My work emphasizes clarity, cohesion, and impact, ensuring each project stands out in a competitive market.
Professional Experience
My path in game design started in 2022, when I left a decade of work in digital projects to train seriously in the discipline. Since March 2024 I’ve been leading the design of Project: Catalepsy, a 3D roguelike where I manage a team of ~10 people and handle the complete design: mechanics, narrative, UI/UX… and sometimes they let me touch Unity.
In early 2026 we established the development studio: Iberante, with the goal of taking Project: Catalepsy from a small demo to a full commercial game on digital platforms.
During development I ran into a well-known problem: design documentation always lagged behind the actual game. The GDD existed, but it demanded so many updates that it was constantly falling out of date — due to the friction of the tools: text editor, diagrams, graphic design, task management… everything on different platforms that don’t talk to each other, and the market offered no specialized solution for documenting video games.
So, from Iberante, we built Strudo to solve it — a structured documentation tool built specifically for game development teams, with a REST API so the engine can consume the data directly.
As I mentioned at the start, before game design I worked for over a decade in digital projects as an SEO specialist. That gave me a deep understanding of how users interact with complex systems and how to optimize experiences to maintain engagement. That technical perspective complements the creative vision: I design systems that are both coherent and accessible.
Education & Specialization
Professional Game Design Program – Serravi.com (2022-2023)
Intensive training covering fundamental areas of video game design: player psychology, industry knowledge, design methodology, and professional tools. The program included a 275-page technical book, 9 additional audio lessons, and 4 direct mentorship sessions with Julián Serravi. I actively participated in student design debates and received personalized guidance on key Game Design aspects.
Specialized Masterclasses

Technical Foundation
Computer Systems Technician – IES Santa Isabel de Hungría (2006-2009)
Technical training in software installation and configuration, local networks, multi-user systems, and IT infrastructure maintenance. This technical foundation provides me with a solid understanding of the technological aspects of video game development and system optimization.
Design Philosophy
My approach is based on three pillars:
- Clarity over complexity – The best mechanics are easy to learn but difficult to master.
- Integrated narrative – Story isn’t an add-on; it must emerge organically from gameplay.
- Constant iteration – The best games are born from rapid prototyping and rigorous testing.
I firmly believe that successful game design requires balancing creative vision with technical constraints and market expectations.
